Trendy Tuesday: Bridal Gowns

It is a beautiful Tuesday again today so lets take a look at some beautiful gowns! Candace with Paige and Elliott Bridal Boutique shared some amazing trends and tips with what is hot in the bridal gown world!! Check it out.

Top trends we are seeing in the industry!

Boho - OMG boho! This is a trend we are totally on board with! The outdoor wedding has aways been a great perk of tying the knot in the Carolinas! Playing off the outside romantic vibes, the boho bride has emerged and we have all the heart eyed emojis for her! Bold crochet lace is all the rage and makes a statement in gowns! These boho pieces tend to run fitted to show off every curve or have a flowy romantic skirt. Thick, textured lace that can be one pattern all over or mixing of multiple kinds of lace on one dress!

Color - We have officially welcomed color to the world of bridal! I bet you didn’t know that it is hard to find a true white dress anymore! Everything comes in ivory or off white but lately we are seeing more than just subtle tones! Champagne and blush are leading the color race and knocking it out of the park! Brides are not afraid of playing with something different. We also are seeing midnight grays, soft blues, pops of red and even black! YES! Black wedding dresses are here!

Low back - This one is all over pinterest! If I had a nickel for every girl who walked in our store asking for a low back, let me tell you - I would be rich! Haha! Brides are moving away from strapless and embracing a new era of smaller straps with plunging back lines. They are done in V shapes or scoop shapes and give a dramatic look to any dress! I mean,  guests are staring at your backside for the ceremony!

Separates -  I hope you aren’t thinking of the original bridal separates where a strapless rhinestoned corset sits overtop the cupcake skirt giving all the cinderella vibes. Nope! The industry has moved to a sleek and sexy way to do separates. Tops and bottoms that you get to mix and match creating your own custom dress. Want to sew them together? No problem! Now you have a custom dress, for half the cost! My favorites thing about these 2 piece options are that they are so very versatile. If your style is a large ballgown for the ceremony but you want to cut a rug at the reception, two skirts will do the trick. Because they are separate pieces, the top can stay and you can completely change looks by putting on a different skirt!

Yassssss! We love everything about all these wedding dress trends.  Thank you to Paige and Elliott for those and for these gorgeous photos of the gowns. See something you like??? All the dresses shown are available at their store! Make an appointment to visit their adorable store for an intimate and relaxing experience and to find the dress of your dreams!
