Natural Woodland Styled Shoot
I am very excited and eager for our styled shoot coming up this Thursday! IT'S FINALLY HERE!
I have been working closely with the lovely Kelli Conley from yah Photography to make this shoot unique, beautiful and down right fun! We have also partnered with some very talented vendors to help capture the woodland theme. Ribald Farms, Sweet Scene Cakes, Makeup by Jenny Le, Olive Paper and Beautiful Idiot Clothing will all be featured.
The only way to describe the venue we will be shooting at, Camp Canaan, is "naturally beautiful." So it is only appropriate that our design plan will mesh natural with beauty! We will incorporate nature into the shoot with a twist of elegance to fit our theme. Twigs, acorns, pine cones, antlers, yep- you'll see it all! I even made some homemade stained glass to possibly incorporate the day of (feel free to check that out on Instagram).
Along with the natural look, we have chosen a very specific look for our bride and groom models. They will have a natural look, while also radiating beauty and style. Our color scheme of hunter green, deep purple and gold will show up in all the right places to tie everything together into the detailed scenes (and with that color scheme surrounded by the natural greens, wow!).
Our different scene shots will highlight just a few of the natural beauty areas that the camp has to offer; the forest/woods, mossy bank, cliff by the river and picnic shelter. Along with these, Camp Canaan has much more to offer. It sits on its own island and has cabins, a large disc golf course, rope courses, zip lining, a lodge, pool, open fields and even more that enhances the experience and beauty.
After months of planning, it is so exciting that it's finally the week of! Just like planning actual weddings, I know it will be so rewarding to see it all come together the day of! Stay tuned for the breath-taking photos that will come from this shoot.
