Inexpensive Ways To Add Color To Your Wedding

Adding color to your wedding can be expensive, that's why I recommend adding "splashes" of color! There are very fun and inexpensive ways to do this that make it all come together.

1. Signature Table
Typically white table cloths are cheaper to rent/buy than colored table cloths and a lot of venues even provide white linens. Save some money and go with white and add a signature table or two. Some people make their cake table the signature table, some people make their sweetheart table the signature table, some people make their head table the signature table and some people just do it all!! Rather than spending extra money to get colored cloths on all of your tables, just pick one or two and get cute specialty table cloths for them. There are so many fun linens to choose from that can really add color and class to your wedding; sequined table cloth, patterned table cloth, ruffle table cloth, lace table cloth, etc.

2. Table Runners
Along with number one.... Stick with the white table cloths on all tables and add table runners for color! You can do a burlap runner, lace runner, colored lace runner, colored runner, chevron runner, and many other fun options that will add the color you are looking for with out breaking your budget.

3. Napkins
Along with number one and two... Stick with the white table cloths and add color with your napkin linens. They add color to all of the tables and are inexpensive to rent. There are also very fun ways to fold/display napkins so that they stand out on the tables and look like decor.

4. Garlands/Hangings
There are a ton of adorable and very inexpensive hanging decoration items that can be used to add some color on sites like Oriental Trading, Etsy, Party City, etc. Add a couple of cute flag or circle banners to a wall, perhaps as a backdrop for the cake table. Get the colored paper flower balls for the end seats to line the isle or to hang. Along with hanging flower balls, you can add color by hanging round paper lanterns. There are tons of unique and adorable backdrops, garlands and hangings available to purchase on sites like Etsy and even tutorials on Pinterest for the DIY bride/wedding.

5. Prints & Frames
A very inexpensive way to add color is printing and photo-frame signs! Go to the dollar store or Walmart and get a bunch of cheap wooden frames and some spray paint that matches your wedding colors. Spray-paint the frames and create fun signs, table numbers, menus, etc. in a Word Document and print to put together! The only cost is $1 frames, 1 can of spray paint and paper/printing ink. Easy and fun.

6. Actual Photos!
Displaying actual photos of the bride, groom, family, friends, pets, and memories is another inexpensive way to add color and personality/atmosphere to your wedding. Try to find a photo of you and your guests and incorporate it at their seat or table. 4x6 prints are only .16 cents at Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, etc. and wallet-sized photos might be even cheaper! Print them off and make that their place card... Everyone loves to see a picture of their self.

7. Up Lighting
Add up-lighting to your package with the DJ. This is a fantastic and easy way to add color to your wedding and it also makes the atmosphere fun! Set the tone and mood with splashes of your wedding color all around the reception!
