10 Things You Don't Want To Worry About On Your Wedding Day

A lot of people ask me what my Month-Of package includes or what all I do on the day of. The answer is simple; I offer the bride, groom, and anyone else in the wedding party peace of mind.

Weddings take months, sometimes even years, to plan and then are over in the blink of an eye! The day of the wedding goes by so fast, so I try my hardest to ensure that no one in the wedding party (especially the bride and groom) are stressed so that they can enjoy every moment of that monumental day! I have heard so many brides over the years make the comment, "Man, all that planning and its already over," at the end of the night. I also hear, "yea, my wedding day was a big blur." I strive to make every second of the weekend/day memorable, fun and relaxing for everyone involved!

To give you an idea, here are 10 things you won't have to worry about on your wedding day with Mint To Be Weddings by your side;

1. Vendors. I stay in constant contact with all vendors up until they breakdown/pick up at the end of the wedding! Vendors are all given a timeline with set up instructions and my contact information. Beginning a month out from the wedding date, I become their main contact. No bothering the bride or groom or mothers/fathers with questions on the day of, they all will be in contact with me.

2. Wedding Party. Much like with vendors, I am the contact for the wedding party. The wedding party also receives a timeline of where to be and when for pictures, getting ready, lining up, introductions, etc. I request names and numbers and also ask that any comments, questions or concerns be directed to me. No having to worry about where the groomsmen are!

3. Special Touches. Don't spend your wedding day decorating, we want you to relax! We handle setting out special items, like the cake knife, topper, favors, programs, menus, signs, exit items, candles, etc. I meet with the couple to go over the set up and then gather all of the items at the
rehearsal to go over any questions or last minute changes!

4. The Big "I Do" Let us line everyone one up, bring everyone out and coordinate the ceremony with ushers, wedding party, the officiant, and the ceremony musician/DJ. The ceremony is vital and can be confusing so we go over positions, signals and timelines at the rehearsal and then take care of it the day of.

5. What Time Is It? Don't worry about the time, we've got that covered! We have a wedding day timeline and communicate with both vendors and the wedding party to ensure that each highlighted event is executed on time. We also handle communication with guest to help guide them to different rooms for the different events. Just have fun and we will grab you when it's time for the cake cutting, bouquet toss, toast, dinner, exit, etc.

6. Don't Forget To Eat! Have you ever heard "We didn't even get to eat our wedding food because we were running around speaking to guests"? We got your back! We go through the line before it
opens up and food will be at your place settings to enjoy when y'all are able and also in to-go boxes at the end of the night to enjoy later. Bon Appetite!

7. Final Payments. We Don't want our bride and grooms to have to worry about a thing, including payments. I go through each vendor contract with the couple prior to there wedding and list out what is still owed before the rehearsal.  I collect all final payments and tips and dispurse them before, during or after wedding.

8. Gifts, Gifts & More Gifts! Once you make your exit and the night is finished, the last thing you (or anyone else) are going to want to do is load up a bunch of wedding gifts. Let us take care of it! We request a designated car or room (if staying at the venue) to put all of the wedding gifts in as the night/day is winding down.

9. Closing Time. At the end of the night after you have made your exit, let us thank your guest for attending and walk them out. We want to ensure that curfues are met and everyone is out on time
 so there are no surprise fees.

10. Whose Gonna Clean Up This Mess? We will! We work with the venue and all vendors to ensure that everything is cleaned up at the end of the night so that no one from the wedding has to worry about it. We also will gather and hold onto any special items or extra favors, decorations, supplies, etc. That are left behind for someone to pick up within 2 weeks!

In addition to these 10 things, we do much more! We are behind the scenes taking care of set up, surprises and the actual event. We also check in on the wedding party frequently during the day and night to ensure everyone is happy and to see if there is anything anyone needs.
