A Tale As Old As Time

With today being the first snow of 2018, romance is in the air so it is only appropriate that we feature Laina and Jeremy's romantic, Beauty and the Beast inspired wedding!

Laina and Jeremy are actually one of my good friends from middle and high school. They have been together and madly in love since I have known them and have an absolute beautiful story. So after over a decade of love and one sweet little girl later, they decided to tie the knot.

Their wedding was fun in two unique aspects; 1. It was Beauty and the Beast inspired (Laina is obsessed with Beauty and the Beast and always has been). 2. It ended up featuring the number 11 quite frequently; some on purpose and some by fate! Laina and Jeremy decided to get married on 11.11.17 and each had 11 bridesmaids and 11 groomsmen. Then, while searching for their perfect venue, they chose Brakefield at Riverwalk. If you have never seen this venue, go look it up! It is stunning and is essentially a mini castle with a gorgeous view. Perfect for the two! Well, Brakefield at Riverwalk's address is 1111 Brakefield Drive and it was founded in 2011!!!!! Crazy, right?

Laina and her mother did a fantastic job with the accents of Beauty and the Beast. It was not one bit cheesy but truly elegant. Check out all of their fun and beautiful details below!

THE WEDDING PARTY
Laina and Jeremy's wedding party were looking good! 11 beautiful ladies in gorgeous deep red dressed and 11 dapper men in suits with red accents. At the rehearsal dinner, the laddies were given pretty matching earrings and the men were given fun socks to wear on the day-of! With a whole squad by their side, Laina and Jeremy were sure to look "picture perfect" on their special day.

But the star of the show [other than Laina] was Laina and Jeremy's sweet little girl, Laila. Laila was a beautiful flower girl and brought tears to everyone's eyes as she gracefully walked down the aisle and threw her rose pedals.

THE CEREMONY
Their ceremony was very moving and Laina's sweet grandfather actually married the two as many friends and family watched.

THE COUPLE
After the ceremony, Laina and Jeremy took gorgeous romantics on the grounds while their guest enjoyed cocktail hour.

THE RECEPTION
Their reception was full of fun, laughter and dancing! They featured a Photo Booth, band AND DJ. The band and DJ did a fantastic job at tag teaming throughout the night and highlighted events. They had a moving first dance to live music by the band and sweet parent dances as well. After dinner was the cake cutting and some of the best toasts that I have heard, given by the Laina's best friend/Maid of Honor and Jeremy's Father/Best Man. Laina's youngest sister caught her bouquet and ironically enough, her sister's boyfriend caught the garter!

THE DECOR
With Brakefield at Riverwalk, you really don't have to do much because it is so beautiful and has a lot of decor within the space. It has a gorgeous fireplace which typically serves as the sweetheart backdrop and accent pieces around (like the wall sconces). So most of the decor came into play with the tables. They had gold crinkle table linens (provided by Family Catering) to bring out the gold accents around and then the most adorable red napkins that were hand folded into roses by bride and groom! Their centerpieces featured a sunken rose in a hurricane vase and romantic votives with rose pedals. Their sweetheart table had the actual rose from Beauty and the Beast in the bell jar! HOW PERFECT?!? We custom created their table assignment cards and featured the rose to mimic what was on their wedding invitation and tie that back in.

THE CAKE
The cake was absolutely stunning and a huge focal point. Laina and Jeremy's cake was 4-tiered with a middle piece that featured the rose in the bell jar from Beauty and the Beast! It had beautiful icing details on the cake and tasted just as delicious as it looked.

The wedding, the day, the night, the decor, the couple, the family and everything in-between was absolutely beautiful and elegant. It was such a fun and special night for a fun and special family.

Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Jackson!

Thank you to all of their fantastic vendors for making it such a wonderful evening.
