Trendy in Texas

Happy Trendy Tuesday! Today we are taking a look at one very special wedding that was so trendy, yet so unique that we can't stop reminiscing about it.

At the end of September I flew to Austin, Texas to celebrate my dear cousin's special day. Our family is extremely close and are more like best friends. We typically come see them once a year and they come to Charlotte to see us once a year and we group chat in anticipation all year long.

It was so much fun to experience a wedding in another state and a realize they have some completely different trends and looks than the Carolinas and some similar. It was a gorgeous wedding and I am excited to share it!

Morgan + Billy's venue, Prospect House, was very neat and modern. A white, blank canvas with endless decor opportunities. It had some very unique features to it that added personality.

A white wall with single tubes to design a floral wall or in Morgan's case, a drop-dead gorgeous greenery wall!

Natural wood tables/chairs and a wind vein garden canopy that Morgan had draped with greenery.

A permanent structure framing the gorgeous natural backdrop of Texas! Morgan and her florist, French Inspired Floral, added the chic hanging branch.

So, what did Morgan do with this blank canvas? She beautifully incorporated natural wood, greenery, slate grey and blush all together to transform it.

All of her gorgeous linens and tableware came from Premiere Events, where her twin sister actually works and helped with the design! She had grey specialty linens and runners with a subtle texture design that really added contrast with the wood and made the greenery and blush waterfall napkins pop.

Also adding a blush pop factor was the wedding party attire. Morgan had her two sisters in the same dress standing next to her and gave the rest of us the freedom to choose our own gowns, staying in the blush color palette.

The men were all looking dapper in their grey and white. Billy had his two best men up there with him in full suits and the other groomsmen had a more relaxed style with just their button up and tie.

And we just have to talk about the adorable flower girl and ring bearers. They were just the cutest things ever!!!!

The Groom and Bridal suites were everything. The bridal suit had vanity mirrors across an entire wall, lounge seating and a large wall mirror, perfect for hair and make up.

Morgan not only did a first look with Billy but also with her father, Jay. I LOVE groom and father first looks. It gets rid of those pre-ceremony jitters and captures raw and intimate emotions.

And let's not forget about Mama Bear, Crystal!!

Then it was showtime! What a beautiful wedding for a beautiful couple. (And talk about that beautiful weather/lighting!!!)

This has to be one of my favorite photos from the entire day. As her father is hugging his soon-to-be son in law, Morgan is giving a quick loving glance and smile to her two sisters and best friends.

And then the party started! They had cocktail hour in the biergarten where guest were serenaded by a mariachi band!! How freaking fun!

Her reception details were so cute! Her oldest sister, Ryan, designed her invitations, signage and stationery.

Morgan and Billy had a rockstar DJ (DJ Nixx) who, after introductions and dinner, kicked off the longest dance party I've seen at a wedding. Everyone had a ball and danced the night away before their sparkler exit.
