Ready, Set, Shoot!
Camp Canaan is an ideal wedding venue for the couple who love, live and breathe the outdoors. It offers an abundance amount of naturally beautiful areas and also backs up the to Catawba River, providing a breath-taking back drop. How fun would it be to get the full experience and have the island to yourself/wedding party for the whole weekend? The ladies in one cabin and the men in the other! The camp also has fun activities to take pleasure in before the big day; ropes course, pool, zip line, disc golf course, etc. Even get the full, fun feel and have your wedding party arrive to the ceremony location in the camp bus. The camp has a dining hall, shelter and many open areas surrounded by gorgeous greenery and scenery that couples can choose the layout from.
On this shoot we wanted to keep it very woodsy, natural and elegant. We chose to go with deep purples, greens and golds to highlight the natural beauty that is all over the camp. All of the vendors on this shoot did an amazing job incorporating the "woodland" theme into their work/product. The flowers, cake, rentals, clothing, stationery, hair and make-up were all spot on.
I had such a blast coordinating and working on this shoot and believe the photos that came from it are absolutely perfect. I am so impressed with each vendor's talents on this shoot, it really allowed everyone to showcase them with such a unique theme and look.
