Blush & Blue In A Southern Manor

I am so grateful and privilege to not only have had this Styled Shoot published in Southern Bride Magazine, but mostly to have worked with these amazingly talented vendors! Each vendor involved in this shoot went above and beyond my expectation and really brought the Southern Chic look all together.

It is so incredibly hard to choose only a select amount of photos for this post, as they all were brilliant, but I will try to do so! All photos are captured by the oh, so talented Kelli with Yah Photography! HUGE shout out to her for being an all around amazing person and photographer. Kelli has helped with since week one of starting my business and I am eternally grateful for her time, opportunities and friendship!

Let's start with this gorgeous venue, which is none other than Stowe Manor in Belmont, NC. Stowe Manor has very southern charm to it, which is exactly the look we were aiming for. On the inside, it offers clients many rooms to utilize and lots of vibrant and unique colors to work with. Whether your wedding colors are blue, pink, green or gold, they will tie in to the manor perfectly to wow and Awe all guests.

Now how about that gorgeous tableware? All rentals (tables, chairs, linens, china, glassware, etc.) were provided by the wonderful Creative Solutions. We decided that we wanted blush and a slate blue with highlights of gold and just hints of pink and navy. They really nailed it with the linen colors and mixed matched china. This really helped bring out all the beautiful colors that the venue has to offer.

Speaking of that table set up.... these flowers are everything and more! I love the colors and fun that Carey Roberts Design incorporated in all of the flowers for this shoot.  It is vibrant, elegant and bold all wrapped up together. She absolutely killed it on the flowers.

This magnificent ombre pedal cake was the icing on this shoot, literally ;) and was provided by Brenda's Cake Gallery.  The colors and style were both absolutely perfect for the look and scheme that we chose. The macarons were a fun touch and a delicious treat for the models as well!

This stunning blush gown was courtesy of Hayden Olivia Bridal in Charlotte and exactly what we were looking for.  I created an inspiration board and sent it to all vendors involved in the shoot to get an idea of what were were going for. When I came to look at dresses at Hayden Olivia's chic store, this was the first dress that I was shown and they really hit a home run! I love the color, style, lace and detailed beadwork in the top.

We knew we wanted that pop of navy up against the blush dress and to contrast with the vibrant room colors and Men's Warehouse in Rock Hill hooked us up! This combination of navy, white and blush complimented everything in this shoot and really added so much.

Our model's stunning hair and make up was done by the fun and talented Lauren Lail Make Up. This elegant up-do and natural make up really turned this southern gal into the ideal southern bride!

And last but certainly not least.... our handsome and beautiful models! Alison & Will King, an actual married couple, really took our shoot to the next level with their genuine love and fun personailities shining through in each photo. We are so grateful to have captured how the groom and bride truly look at each other on the big day and the love that surrounds it.

Thank you once again to all vendors on this styled shoot. It was so much fun and definitely a success in every aspect. I feel honored to have worked with each one of you and am excited for future collaborations as Mint to Be Weddings

  1. Once you get through initial "I know what's best" attitude of the manager here, you will agree that - he DOES know what's best, and he does not treat you like just some paycheck. During my wedding at Seattle Wedding venues the wait staff was absolutely the best.
