Morris-McCormick Wedding

Yesterday I had a venue walk through with one of my clients and their families. It got me even more excited for our first wedding of 2016. On March 5, 2016, Mint to Be Weddings will be running around and working hard to make Kat & Mike's wedding day fun, relaxing and perfect.

This adorable couple hired Mint to Be Weddings in February for a Partial Planning Package. I have been working along side Kat to put all of the pieces in line and work through ideas to make their special day perfect. I am looking forward to seeing everything come together the day of!

Kat and Mike are going with a navy blue and white theme and are also adding in many personal and special touches. They will be using hydrangea's as their signature flowers, as they have sentimental meaning in the family. They will also be straying away from typical ceremony songs to play songs with meaning in their relationship and that express their love for eachother. They have a couple unique surprises in their ceremony planned as well which I am excited for, thanks to their amazing and talented officiant, Rev. Rebecca Nagy! Mike and all of his groomsmen will be looking sharp in their "navy blues" and the bridesmaids will also be in navy, leaving Kat to stand out in her stunning white wedding dress.

Navy and white make such a beautiful and bold wedding scene. I can't wait to put all of the details together for the reception. We will be renting navy table cloths with white napkins and beautiful hydrangea centerpieces that will be put together by Mike's mother. Around the tables will be white chairs with navy blue chair bows to add to the decor. The venue is ideal for highlighting special decorations, it has two fireplaces with mantels that face eachother with large mirrors hanging over them to decorate. We have fun ideas for these mantels and the cake table. In the walkway entrance, there are horizontal beams that run across the top where we plan on hanging paper puff-flower balls for an immediate wedding welcome as guest walk in. The entrance of the building is beautiful as well, there are stairs with rod iron railing and beautiful trees lining the walkway to the front doors.

We are so very happy for Kat and Mike and thankful to be a part of their wedding planning and big day! We're almost at the 6 months mark, we've got the vendors books and now it is time for the fun little details! And might I add, that Kat and Mike has booked wonderful vendors that we are looking forward to working with; Rev. Rebecca Nagy, Tracey Smith with Captured By Tracey Photography and Sharon Goick with Icing on the Edge.
